Also known as coir pith is made from coconut husks, which are by products of coconut fibre (outermost protective layer of coconut). Primarily consists of the coir fibre pith or coir dust which is obtained by processing coconut husk and removing the long fibres. Not only a natural, often organic product, but also a renewable one with a slightly Acidic ph 5 that many plants prefer to grow in. This makes an excellent growing medium for plants it has natural rooting hormones and anti-fungal properties.100% natural growing medium. How to use Naturally Green Cocopeat block ?

Naturally Green Cocopeat block comes in compressed form, it expands and increases up to 5 X in volume after it is reconstituted.

 

Cut out only the amount that you require, considering 5X volume gain.

 

Place it in a bucket and add 5X VOLUME of water. Wait till the block expands and slowly stir till it loosens. The product is ready for use

Using Naturally Green Cocopeat in Garden: It can be directly used into the garden soil to improve water retention, aeration and decrease the risk of the soil fungus and root diseases.

Mix in soil in the ratio of 25/75.

 

Naturally Green Cocopeat can also be used as a mulch for garden plants to help the soil retain moisture and prevent the growth of weeds.

 

Using Naturally Green Cocopeat for Pots: Naturally Green Coco peat can be used as a soil-less growing medium for potted plants or in aqua-culture growing environments.

 

Add Naturally Green Cocopeat to planters, leaving 1 inch of space below the planter rim. Plant a seed or seedling in the center.

 

Coco peat can also be used as a sole growing medium for starting seeds. Once the shoots start to form you can transplant seedlings into the pots.
